The Grand Palace
Thai roofs on a European hall, topiary like punctuation, and a lawn you are not supposed to cut across. We didn't.
Bangkok on a bright January day: the Grand Palace, then Wat Arun. Same winter as the Vietnam trip. Its own page, because it is a different country.
We did not try to see the whole kingdom. We did the two places everyone sends you first — and they earned it.
The Grand Palace is the postcard that is also the real building. Wat Arun is the one you feel in your calves. Vietnam is family. This was the next country on the itinerary, and it stays on its own page.
The palace lawn, the porcelain, a gong, a Buddha in a red hall. The day as it looked from where we stood.
This page is Bangkok as we shot it. Islands and the north wait until we have the pictures.

Porcelain flowers, a gong, stairs that mean it. The Temple of Dawn, visited in hard daylight, and still the one we talk about.
The frame for those two. Heat, a bright sky, and the feeling that one day is not enough — which is the honest review.
The photographs sit here. The moving footage is on Instagram, where we posted it first.

The building through the topiary. Same Instagram set.
If your property genuinely welcomes families, we would love to show what that looks like.
